Cell Widget privacy policy

By default Cell Widget does not transmit any data to the internet.

If you enable the “Auto save new cells”-feature, each new mobile cell will be sent to an google service to get the coordinates (latitude and longitude) for the location id and cell id of the cell. Additionally, the coordinates received will be reverse geocoded to get a readable address

PERMISSIONS

• READ_PHONE_STATE: required on pre Android 6 devices to get information about mobile connection speed and signal strength. On devices with Android 6 and newer, this permission is needed to determine if the device is a dual sim device and show information about mobile connection speed and signal strength.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: required to export cell lists, kml files, clf files to phone memory.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: required to get lac and cell id.
